There has been a lot of craziness going on the last few days; first the terrible tragedy in Newtown, CT, and now a guy from Cedar Lake, IN (not far from where I grew up) was arrested for threatening something very similar. Yikes!
Sorry for the lack of updates, I’ve been really busy lately! I just got back from being underway for a week, trying to learn more about my new job as Navigator. Since I’ve got some time off this weekend, I figured it would be a good idea to stop and write a quick update for the ‘ol blog! We have more or less completed our move now, and I would say that the house here on Pelican Crescent is about as settled as it is going to get. Which is good, because we are just in time for the holidays! Likewise, now that my job is getting a lot busier, it is good to know that things are at least settled here.
I’ve been chipping away at a few outstanding projects with the little free time I’ve had. For example, I’ve been working on some more models for Dystopian Wars in fits and starts. Likewise, I’ve gone back and started playing some video and computer games that I’ve had for a while, but never finished or even played. As it turns out, one of the downfalls of digital distribution for video games is that it is easier to buy one and then forget about it! I might have to explore that a little bit later in another post, now that I think about it.
Until next time!
