This time, it’s not Snowday 2!
Once again, the area has gotten hit with a snow storm of, shall we say…significant proportions. Fortunately, Gwen and I have been able to hole up in the house. I went out and got the necessary supplies for a few days yesterday before the snow began to fall (along with a nice bouquet for Gwen for Valentines day). At this point, it looks like the snow has stopped falling, though there is a lot of drifting happening still due to the high winds and the light nature of the snow. Even though we were kind of stuck in the house last night, I tried to make Valentines Day as special As possible for Gwen. In addition to the flowers, I made her some Fettucini Alfredo using a recipie my Dad taught me, and it came out pretty good!
Other than that, I’ve been busy as usual working on the boat. I’ve also finally unlocked my first Tier X tank in World Of Tanks, the mighty E100 Super-heavy Tank. I haven’t played it all that much yet, but I’ve been having a blast with it when I have had a few moments to play. I’ve also been steadily painting up my backlog of wargaming minis, including a batch of models for the Firestorm Armada space combat game:
