Hello everyone! Gwen and I are in the process of moving to Portsmouth, NH (you can see pictures our our next house a couple of posts back). We decided to stop off for a day at Scranton, PA to take a look at the Steamtown National Historic Site and the rest of the USS SCRANTON’s namesake city.
In addtion to Steamtown, we also looked at a miniatures exhibit housed in the nearby mall that we raided for lunch. We also took a little time to see some of the sights in downtown Scranton, including the interior of the old Lackawanna depot (now a hotel). My parents and Gwen’s parents (not to mention Vesta!) joined us for a very fun day! We couldn’t have asked for better weather, either. Here are some of the pictures we took during the visit:
