So, it has been a couple of weeks since I’ve gotten around to updating here. I’ve been on leave, so I’ve been trying to do as little as possible! Tomorrow it’s back to work, though. Here is sort of a random smattering of updates, so please bear with the randomness.<\/p>\n

Lately, I’ve been working on some of the models I’ve gotten for Christmas, including the Australian fleet I got for Dystopian Wars. You can see a picture of the test model I painted below:<\/p>\n

This is the first ship I’ve painted for my DW Australians.<\/p><\/div>\n

I’m hoping to get the finishing touches put on these models by the end of the week, so stay tuned!<\/p>\n

Gwen and I also spent the last week visiting my family out in Indiana. We had a really nice time! I finally managed to see my sister’s house after two years, and catch up with some relatives that I haven’t seen in about as long. We lucked out too, managing to get out of the Indianapolis area before a storm moved in.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, I finally manged to get a game of Dystopian Wars in, after almost a year! I demoed the game for another player at a store called Atlantis Games & Comics. I had originally gone there hoping to get a game of 40k in, but there were no opponents available. It looks like Sunday afternoons might be a good time to roll out to that store and play games; there was a good group there playing.<\/p>\n

And finally, I’ve been playing a fair amount of video games lately. Of course, I’ve been playing World Of Tanks a bit, though I am thinking of dialing back on the amount of time I’m sinking into that game. I’ve been playing a lot of Fire Emblem: Awakening on my 3DS, which is proving to be the best game in the series (in my opinion) and an absolute blast. I’ve also started up playing Dark Expanse again, a MMO 4x strategy game.<\/p>\n
