This is going to be a (mostly) serious post.<\/p>\n<p>So, first of all, two weekends back Gwen and I attended the annual Dolphin Scholarship Silver and Gold auction. The theme was Super Heroes, so we went dressed as Batman and Batgirl:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/andysrandomstuff.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/bat-costumes.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-308\" alt=\"bat costumes\" src=\"http:\/\/andysrandomstuff.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/bat-costumes-224x300.jpg\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/andysrandomstuff.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/bat-costumes-224x300.jpg 224w, http:\/\/andysrandomstuff.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/bat-costumes.jpg 575w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 224px) 100vw, 224px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The auction itself was a lot of fun. We didn&#8217;t win anything from the silent auction, but we did win a nice watercolor painting and a weekend stay at something called a &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/harmonyhillretreat.com\/lodging-reservations.html\">yurt<\/a>&#8221; in the Catskill mountains from the live auction. Sounds like a fun weekend getaway! We will probably take it after we have moved, maybe this fall.<\/p>\n<p>This past weekend, I managed to finally finagle a gaming day up at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegamevault.net\/\">Game Vault<\/a> in Fredricksburg, VA.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Not so much really.
