Rocky Neck State Park

Gwen and I are settling in quite nicely. We have finally ordered a washer & dryer, and they should be delivered this week. We also have most of the clutter around the house cut down to size, although there are a few areas that still need some work. I’ve been able to get a few games in, as well, including my first game of Dystopian Wars here in Connecticut!

Anyway, yesterday we decided to take some time off and check out the near-by Rocky Neck State Park. The park features a very nice picnic and camping area, as well as a stone pavilion that overlooks the park’s beach. Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor also cuts though the park along the water, so we got to see a few trains (including the Acela!) rocket past while we were eating our lunch. Here are some pictures:

Until next time!
