Hello once again! It’s been a couple of weeks. Since I updated last, I have had a lot of stuff going on. Gwen and the babies are doing well; we just had our last appointment down at Brigham & Womens this past Thursday. Work has been hectic as usual, since there is a bit of a crunch right now as we fight through the process of completing simulator sessions down in Groton at the same time we are doing lots of training on the boat for our new equipment installs. In the limited amount of free time I’ve had, I’ve been playing some Firestorm Armada with my friend Terry. We have started a “campaign” – a series of linked battles – in the setting, and are having a lot of fun with it. At the moment, I’m supplying the models for both sides, which are the Terrans and the Directorate:
We have been having a great time with this game. There are a lot of announcements swirling about regarding Firestorm Armada right now…Spartan is teasing new models, new factions, and a campaign setting as well. Of course, I got impatient and made my own campaign rules, but that is beside the point! And, as tends to happen, playing a game has prompted me to work on more models for it. Right now, I’m painting a couple of shield cruisers and a new carrier for my Terrans:
